As a part of the workshop, organised by 4T Design and Design History Society, a booklet was designed where participants did visualize their own experiences through the lens of İzmir’s design culture and urban identity. For this purpose, each participant was expected to photograph the neighborhoods of Kemeraltı, Anafartalar, Kültürpark, and Alsancak Kültür District from their own perspective and express their experiences freely. The visuals created were worked on utilising collage techniques and reproduced via photocopy. Apart from basic aesthetic rules, no limitations were set for the compositions, which was not including color. For the end of the workshop, the unique compositions that were composed by each participant were compiled into a collective booklet and bound utilising simple stitching methods.
